1. Hands free forever!

   Now that I've been using the Hipster belt for a few years, walking a dog using a handheld leash seems incredibly lame. While the bill has four D-rings, I find it works better to use just one of them with a splitter leash to walk our two dogs. The extra rings are an insurance policy in case any of them fail, which did happen to us once. The neoprene does wear out after a few years, but I bought a second belt more because it was handy to have two, and I'm not sure the neoprene is actually important.

   This belt is really great! I'm a pet care professional and I currently have four dogs (three of them large!) in my crew. Walking with a splitter leash, it seemed like someone was always getting tangled. With this belt, I can clip the dogs in at slightly different places/orientations, and adjust the leashes to different lengths. It was so much easier and more enjoyable to walk my crew this way! The dogs were happier and so was I! Plus, my hands were free too! I highly recommend this product if you walk multiple dogs.

   Comfortable neoprene padded design. Extremely durable. Versatile. Strong enough for the largest and most challenging dogs. This belt prevents the dog from injuring the human because there is no need to hold a leash with one's hands, and it concentrates any forces in the hips and legs... no risk of hand/shoulder/arm injuries, and no risk of the dog escaping because the leash cannot be yanked free. Even in the event of a fall, the dog is still attached to the human. We are elderly, and at times I've worried about what would happen to my dog if I were to have an unexpected collapse... with the Hipster, my dog will remain safely with me. This is my second Hipster. The first one is still functional after seven years of twice daily long walks with a very large and difficult dog.
