The halter places control of your dog around his center of gravity rather than his head or neck.
This method moves the training cues from the head and neck to the dog’s body. This utilizes a dog’s instinctive push/pull reflex called the opposition reflex - a dog's natural inclination is to move toward pressure. This reflex is why so many dogs pull while on leash - as you pull, they pull back.

No single color harnesses are available. The offset color of the back strap is part of the design. Choose your two favorite colors and we will customize your harness. If you want one color to be black, just choose one of the colors listed for the back strap in the drop down provided. If you want the body sewn in black, just choose the color you want for the back strap. All nineteen colors are in stock - no need to use the Custom Colors option.

I was recommended by some Seattle-based friends on Instagram to try the Wonder Walker harness for my dog, Gunther. We live in Southern California and our Ruffwear harness was too bulky and caused him to overheat easily in our frequent hot weather. I was on the hunt for something light, and easy to use. We tried to Easy Walk, but Gunther HATED the front-clip leading method, so it didn't work for us. That's when we decided to order a Wonder Walker, since we'd heard nothing but amazing things about them! And...we love it! Gunther used to hate putting on his Ruffwear harness, but his new Wonder Walker is quick and easy to assemble on him, and it fits perfectly on his body type. The biggest seller for me was the fact that you can clip from the chest strap OR the back strap. Gunther isn't a puller, so I don't really need the front-clip options on harnesses; the back clip works very well for us, but I love that I have that front clip as a back-up should he ever become spooked or excited over something while we're out and about.
I'm super antsy for our new addition to become full-grown so I can order one for him as well! I think we are Wonder Walker buyers for life now :)

My 85 pound Goldendoodle is like a different dog, thanks to the Wonder Walker.

They work wonders! I bought a pink one a couple of years back - unfortunately with constant (ab)use, it has lost its vibrant colour (sea water, mud...), so I ordered a replacement one and one for my other dog. Love them!
